Description
The issue is caused by an integer overflow in the
ihevcd parse sei payload function of the ihevcd parse headers.c component in the Media framework of the Android operating system. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file. User interaction is required for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android version 8.0, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
