Description
The issue is related to a possible failure to initialize a security feature due to uninitialized data in the ipSecSetEncapSocketOwner function of XfrmController.cpp. This could lead to a local denial of service of IPsec on sockets with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. The vulnerability may also be related to errors in resource release, which could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations
For Android version 9.0, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
