Description A heap-based buffer overflow issue exists in the Windows enhanced metafile parser. It can be triggered by a specially crafted image embedded within a document, causing an undersized allocation and resulting in an overflow when the application attempts to copy data into it. An attacker must convince a victim to open a malicious document to exploit this issue.
