Description The issue is related to Buffer Errors, which could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A stack-based buffer overflow in EMF parsing is also mentioned, allowing remote code execution. Attackers can exploit this to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For versions 2018.011.20040 and earlier, update to a version later than 2018.011.20040 to resolve the issue. For versions 2017.011.30080 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30080 to resolve the issue. For versions 2015.006.30418 and earlier, update to a version later than 2015.006.30418 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the EMF parsing function until a patch is available.
