Description: The issue allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have unspecified other impact because of not validating input values from IOCtl 0x80002010. This vulnerability has been reportedly used by actors such as Axiom with cybercriminal motivations, targeting industries like Government and Healthcare, particularly in regions including Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. The vulnerability is related to the driver file zam64.sys.
Recommendations: For Malwarefox Anti-Malware version 2.72.169, consider disabling the vulnerable driver file zam64.sys as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
