Description:
The issue concerns the TLS implementation in the TCP/IP networking module, which might allow remote attackers to decrypt TLS ciphertext data. This is achieved by leveraging a Bleichenbacher RSA padding oracle, also known as a ROBOT attack.
Recommendations:
For Unisys ClearPath MCP systems with TCP-IP-SW versions 58.1 through 58.159, update to version 58.160 or later.
For Unisys ClearPath MCP systems with TCP-IP-SW versions 59.1 through 059.1a.16 (IC #16), update to version 059.1a.17 (IC #17) or later.
For Unisys ClearPath MCP systems with TCP-IP-SW versions 60.0 through 60.043, update to version 60.044 or later.
