Description
The issue is related to Type Confusion in the implementation of
defineGetter in V8. A remote attacker could potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. This could lead to remote code execution.Recommendations
For Google Chrome versions prior to 65.0.3325.146, update to version 65.0.3325.146 or later.
For Opera versions prior to 65.0.3325.146, update to version 65.0.3325.146 or later.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially vulnerable V8 implementations until a patch is available.
