Description The issue in Max Secure Anti Virus allows local users to cause a denial of service (BSOD) or possibly have other unspecified impacts. This is due to the driver file SDActMon.sys not validating input values from the IOCtl 0x220019.
Recommendations For Max Secure Anti Virus version 19.0.3.019, consider disabling the SDActMon.sys driver file as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the IOCtl 0x220019 to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
