Description The issue is related to a remote code execution problem in the Chakra scripting engine of Microsoft Edge, caused by a buffer overflow in memory. This could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the same user rights as the current user by using a specially crafted web page. If the current user has administrative rights, the attacker could take control of the affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
