Description
The issue allows for a Remote Denial Of Service, causing the daemon to crash. This can be achieved by sending a long HTTP Accept Header to TCP port 9991.
Recommendations
For WebLog Expert Web Server Enterprise version 9.4, consider restricting access to TCP port 9991 as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Avoid using excessively long HTTP Accept Headers in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
