Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions libzypp versions prior to 17.5.0
Description The issue is related to the decoupled download and installation steps in libzypp, which could lead to a corrupted RPM being left in the cache. If a later call is made, it would not display the corrupted RPM warning, allowing the installation to proceed. This problem is caused by malicious warnings that are only displayed during the download process.
Recommendations For versions prior to 17.5.0, update to version 17.5.0 or later to resolve the issue.
