| Vector | AV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Internet Explorer versions 10 through 11
Description:
A remote code execution issue exists due to improper memory access by Internet Explorer. This could lead to memory corruption, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the user has administrative rights, the attacker could gain control of the system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations:
For Internet Explorer version 10, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
For Internet Explorer version 11, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting user rights to minimize the risk of exploitation.
