Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the heap, allowing a remote attacker to gain control of the system by sending specially crafted Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) messages. This can enable remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malformed packet.
Recommendations
For Texas Instruments BLE-STACK version 2.2.1, update to a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
