| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
TNLSoftSolutions Sentry Vision versions 3.x
Description
The issue concerns the login interface, which discloses passwords by allowing access to an "if(pwd ==" line in the HTML source code. This effectively means that authentication occurs only on the client side.
Recommendations
For TNLSoftSolutions Sentry Vision versions 3.x, consider disabling client-side authentication as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the login interface to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
