Description
The issue is caused by incorrect input validation in the
SMF ParseMetaEvent function, located in the eas smf.c file. This can lead to an infinite loop, resulting in a remote temporary denial of service (DoS) without requiring additional execution privileges. User interaction is necessary for exploitation.Recommendations
For Android versions 7.0 through 9, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
