Description
The issue is related to an incorrect bounds check in the V4L2SliceVideoDecodeAccelerator::Dequeue function, which can lead to a possible out of bounds read of a function pointer. This could result in local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not required for exploitation.
Recommendations
For Android versions 8.1 through 9, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
