Description The issue is related to a cookie injection vulnerability in the resp new function in http.c via a r sequence in a continuation line. This vulnerability is associated with the lack of processing of r sequences in continuation lines during HTTP header Set-Cookie parsing. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to introduce arbitrary cookies into the cookie jar, adding new or replacing existing cookie values.
Recommendations For GNU Wget versions prior to 1.19.5, update to version 1.19.5 or later to resolve the issue.
