Description
The issue is related to a remote code execution problem in the Chakra scripting engine of Microsoft Edge. It is caused by a buffer overflow in memory, allowing an attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code by using a specially crafted web page. This could lead to memory corruption, enabling the attacker to gain the same user rights as the current user. If the current user has administrative rights, the attacker could take control of the affected system, install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
