Description
The issue is related to a vulnerability in the Remote Administration Daemon (RAD) component of the Solaris operating system, which is part of the Oracle Sun Systems Products Suite. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Solaris, requiring human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all Solaris accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Solaris accessible data. The vulnerability is also associated with inadequate access control.
Recommendations
For version 11.3, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue, as the current version is affected by the vulnerability in the Remote Administration Daemon (RAD) component.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
