Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the EAS Console component of Oracle Hyperion Essbase Administration Services. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Hyperion Essbase Administration Services accessible data.
Recommendations For version 11.1.2.4, consider restricting access to the EAS Console component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit network access via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
