VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle Outside In Technology versions 8.5.3 through 8.5.4
Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Oracle Outside In Technology component, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to data or cause a denial of service using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can result in the ability to cause a hang or crash of Oracle Outside In Technology, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 8.5.3 and 8.5.4, consider restricting access to the Outside In Technology component to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the use of the HTTP protocol for data transfer to the Outside In Technology code until the issue is resolved.
