Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the MySQL Server component, specifically in the Parser subsystem. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using specially crafted network packets, potentially causing the application to hang or crash. The vulnerability can be exploited via multiple protocols and may result in a denial-of-service (DOS) condition, where the MySQL Server becomes unresponsive or crashes repeatedly.
