CVSS v3.1

5.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, 12.2.7
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Attachments / File Upload component of the Oracle Application Object Library. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of the Oracle Application Object Library's accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3, 12.2.3, 12.2.4, 12.2.5, 12.2.6, and 12.2.7, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Attachments / File Upload component until a patch is available. Avoid using the HTTP protocol to access sensitive data in the Oracle Application Object Library until the issue is resolved.
