Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Siebel UI Framework component, specifically the UIF Open UI subcomponent. This allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the Siebel UI Framework, requiring human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of the Siebel UI Framework accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Siebel UI Framework accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 18.7, 18.8, and 18.9, consider restricting access to the Siebel UI Framework component until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of the HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
