| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Construction and Engineering Suite (Primavera Unifier component) versions 15.1, 15.2, 16.1, 16.2, 17.1 through 17.12, and 18.1 through 18.8
Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Primavera Unifier component, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Primavera Unifier's accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Primavera Unifier's accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 15.1, 15.2, 16.1, 16.2, 17.1 through 17.12, and 18.1 through 18.8, consider restricting access to the Web Access component until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for accessing Primavera Unifier to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
