Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the PIA Core Technology component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks may require human interaction and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to update, insert, or delete data, as well as read access to a subset of accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 8.55 through 8.57, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
