Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the PIA Core Technology component of Oracle PeopleSoft Products. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker.
Recommendations
For version 8.55, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches to address the inadequate access control issue.
For version 8.56, apply the recommended configuration changes or patches to mitigate the risk associated with the PIA Core Technology component.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive data and implementing additional monitoring to detect potential unauthorized access attempts.
