Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Sudo component of Oracle Solaris, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise the system. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some Solaris accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Solaris accessible data. Additionally, it can lead to a partial denial of service (DOS) of Solaris.
Recommendations
For Oracle Solaris version 11.3, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
