Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Zones component of Oracle Solaris, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Solaris executes to compromise Solaris. This can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Solaris' accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Solaris' accessible data. Additionally, it can lead to a partial denial of service (DOS) of Solaris.
Recommendations
For Oracle Solaris version 11.3, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue, as no specific workaround is provided for this version.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
