Description The issue is related to a heap out-of-bound write in the server code of the file transfer extension, which can result in remote code execution. It is also described as a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For LibVNC versions prior to commit 502821828ed00b4a2c4bef90683d0fd88ce495de, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
