Description The issue is related to heap out-of-bound write vulnerabilities in the VNC client code, which can result in remote code execution. It is also described as a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code by reading data beyond the specified buffer boundaries.
Recommendations For versions prior to commit a83439b9fbe0f03c48eb94ed05729cb016f8b72f, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
