Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Message Display component of Oracle Email Center, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete protected data using HTTP requests. The attack requires some interaction from a person other than the attacker and can significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to update, insert, or delete some of the data accessible through Oracle Email Center.

Recommendations For Oracle Email Center versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the necessary security patches. For Oracle Email Center versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.7, apply the recommended security fixes to mitigate the issue.
