Description The issue is related to the incorrect handling of confusable characters in the URL Formatter component of Google Chrome, allowing a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a manipulated domain name. This can be achieved by exploiting errors in the processing of special symbols, enabling the attacker to fake the address bar content.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 71.0.3578.80, update to version 71.0.3578.80 or later to resolve the issue.
