Description The issue is related to a division by zero error in the caca dither bitmap function, located in caca/dither.c, of the libcaca graphic library. This error can lead to a denial of service. The vulnerability can be exploited by a remote attacker.
Recommendations For libcaca version 0.99.beta19, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the caca dither bitmap function until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
