VectorAV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Xen versions prior to 4.12
Description An issue in Xen allows 64-bit PV guest OS users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a host OS crash. This occurs because a non-canonical address can be passed to the TLB flushing code, leading to a #GP[0] exception. The issue exists due to an incorrect mitigation of a previous problem.
Recommendations For Xen versions prior to 4.12, update to version 4.12 or later to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no other information about additional mitigation measures for this vulnerability.
