Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Astra Linux (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a memory deallocation error in the hwarc probe handler of the Astra Linux kernel, specifically in the drivers/uwb/hwa-rc.ko module. The error occurs when memory is allocated in the
hwarc function within the hwarc probe function in the drivers/uwb/hwa-rc.c file, but this memory is not released when an error happens in the uwb rc add function. This can lead to a denial of service due to a memory leak when a UWB Radio Controller device is repeatedly connected, causing an error when attempting to read the UWB MAC address from UWB ADDR MAC.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
