Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Astra Linux (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a memory deallocation error in the ddb open handler implementation in the Astra Linux kernel, specifically in the ddbridge.ko module. The error occurs in the
ddb open function when accessing the ddbs array with an index corresponding to the number of devices, which can exceed the array's bounds of 32 elements. This can lead to a denial of service (memory leak) when a PCIe bridge device, represented as a PCI device, is repeatedly connected.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
