Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the implementation of the SXPv4 protocol in Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS XE. This can be exploited by a remote attacker who has already authenticated, allowing them to cause a network device to reload by processing a specially crafted SXP UPDATE packet.
