Description The issue is related to an integer overflow in the uriComposeQuery or uriComposeQueryEx function due to uncontrolled multiplication, allowing a remote attacker to access confidential data, compromise its integrity, and cause a denial of service. The uriComposeQuery and uriComposeQueryEx functions are vulnerable due to unchecked multiplication.
Recommendations For uriparser versions prior to 0.9.0, update to version 0.9.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the uriComposeQuery and uriComposeQueryEx functions until a patch is available.
