Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 70.0.3538.67
Description The issue exists due to insufficient input validation, allowing a remote attacker to spoof the contents of the Omnibox (URL bar) via a specially crafted domain name. This is related to incorrect handling of confusable characters in the Omnibox.
Recommendations For versions prior to 70.0.3538.67, update to version 70.0.3538.67 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to potentially malicious domains to minimize the risk of exploitation.
