CVE-2018-19200

CVSS v3.1

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: uriparser versions prior to 0.9.0
Description: The issue is related to a null pointer dereference in the uriResetUri function of the Uriparser. This could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem arises when the UriCommon.c component attempts to operate on NULL input through the uriResetUri function.
Recommendations: For uriparser versions prior to 0.9.0, update to version 0.9.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the uriResetUri function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
