Description:
The issue is related to a memory leak in the
base/jas malloc.c file of the libjasper.a library. This memory leak occurs when the "--output-format jp2" option is used. The exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.Recommendations:
For JasPer version 2.0.14, consider applying a patch or fix to address the memory leak in the
base/jas malloc.c file to prevent potential denial of service attacks.
