Description:
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read or a divide-by-zero error for an incorrect
user block count in a corrupted f2fs image, leading to a denial of service. This can be caused by a corrupted f2fs image, resulting in a denial of service. The vulnerability is associated with a buffer read beyond its boundaries.Recommendations:
For Linux kernel versions through 4.17.3, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent a denial of service.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
