Description The issue is related to an uncontrolled resource consumption in the Braces package of the NPM package manager. It can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The vulnerability is specifically a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) attack.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.3.1, update to version 2.3.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the Braces package until a patch is available.
