Description The issue is related to a Double Free vulnerability, which could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerability is associated with a double-free memory issue.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions 2018.011.20038 and earlier, update to a version later than 2018.011.20038 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions 2017.011.30079 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30079 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat and Reader versions 2015.006.30417 and earlier, update to a version later than 2015.006.30417 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the ImageConversion function related to JPEG2000 parsing until a patch is available. Restrict access to the vulnerable JPEG2000 parsing module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
