Description The issue is related to errors in pointer dereferencing within the nikon coolscan load raw() function in the internal/dcraw common.cpp component of the LibRaw image processing library. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For versions prior to 0.18.9, update to version 0.18.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the nikon coolscan load raw() function until a patch is available.
