Description
The issue is related to an inefficient regular expression used in the is-my-json-valid JavaScript library to validate JSON fields defined to have email format. This inefficiency can be exploited by a remote attacker who sends a specially crafted JSON file, causing the library to consume an excessive amount of CPU time when validated, leading to a denial of service.
