CVE-2015-9138
CVSS v2.0

| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Android versions prior to 2018-04-05 security patch level
Description
The issue arises when an RSA encryption operation is called in Android, specifically involving the ce util to unsigned bin function. This function incorrectly operates on the address of the unsigned character buffer instead of its size, leading to a potential buffer overflow. The function's operation on the address means that the check to prevent buffer overflow will always pass, as a pointer will never be less than zero.
Recommendations
For Android versions prior to 2018-04-05 security patch level, update to a version with a security patch level of 2018-04-05 or later to resolve the issue.
