CVE-2016-10731

CVSS v3.1

9.8

Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions ProjectSend (formerly cFTP) version r582
Description The issue allows SQL injection via several API endpoints, including "manage-files.php" with the request parameters status and files, "clients.php" with the request parameters selected clients and status, "process-zip-download.php" with the request parameter file, and "home-log.php" with the request parameter action.
Recommendations For ProjectSend (formerly cFTP) version r582, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the vulnerable API endpoints until a patch is available. Avoid using the parameters status, files, selected clients, file, and action in their respective endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
