Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ versions 9.7 through 11.1
Description:
The issue allows for object injection and potentially arbitrary code execution due to the deserialization of the contents of /tmp/connlicj.bin, depending on the classpath.
Recommendations:
For versions 9.7 through 11.1, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /tmp/connlicj.bin file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
Fix
Deserialization of Untrusted Data
